I am not accusing any of the fans of any couple here. I'm sure all fandoms are dedicated. What I think is sad is the way the poll was being handled by peoples choice. Neither did I have any idea until I read an earlier post that because some fans are computer techy and know to turn off their computer and reboot or reboot their rooter and other weird such stuff that they can trick the poll. Guess I'll be more sauvy next time a contest comes around. I just don't think that gives a fair representation of which fandom is truly represented. And I actually don't think some of the stars in question would be impressed with the antics that help them win "or lose." Sorry to say I am now dis-illusioned with the entire idea!

Let me tell you a story. The Olicity Fandom has been through many poll wars. And in every poll war, each competing fandom found ways to vote multiple times, whether the poll was structured that way or not. There were two epic poll wars in particular I want to tell you about, one battle with the Supernatural Fandom in which we won, and another battle with the Hannibal fandom in which we lost. In both of these battles, each fandom worked together to fight. The SPN/Arrow battle went down to the wire, and you better believe fans on both sides were voting wildly until the end. The Hannibal fandom beat us soundly by coordinating voting surges, led by a popular Hannibal person on twitter. This strategy is nothing new. Now, you want to call us cheaters to feel better about yourself, that's okay. I've been where you are. In the depths of my discouragement against Hannibal, I thought "they must have bots." But it wasn't bots, it was an organized fandom. That's what is happening right now. But your fandom still has a chance, you just have to get organized. Fight back. To these people who accuse a whole fandom of cheating just because their fave are not the top1 currently in the poll: You should all know that every time you reboot your pc or shut it down and open it again or eveytime you reboot your rooter or everytime you use private browsing or use mozilla and chrome at the same time gives you the opportunity to vote multiple times. So dont accuse a whole group of people that are being smart and united or organized for using all the methods that all of you use each time you vote(because all of you turn off your pc and when you open it you have the opportunity to vote again) just because you are not doing it massively. There is no cheating. There is just a definition of fandom. So I like Arrow fan since the first season and also watched other shows of couples who are competing. I vote in Olicity (Felicity and Oliver) and the reason is very simple, but very long, so I will summarize: They are colleagues, trust each other, disagree when they need to disagree, look at each other in a unique way, touching as it was the last time ... This is love, respect, and yet they are always in situations that require them to expose what they think ... Actually, Oliver and Felicity are completed!
I think Olicity is the best choice because Felicity wasnt suppose to be a regular but the chemistry between Stephen and Emily was too strong to not keep it!

For me: olicity. I think it does not matter if two people are together , because the chemistry between two people is a spontaneous thing , and it is rare , or you have or do not have . What could be nicer than to read in the eyes of two strangers an innate understanding and complicity ?! ?! this is just my opinion

People that feel the need to hate on one coupe to prop theirs up are very immature. I'm voting for Olicity, but I love a lot of these pairings.
It doesn't matter if Barry/Iris and Oliver/Felicity aren't actual couples, they have canon romantic interactions and love (confirmed on at least one side), they are canon potential couples. That's all that's needed.
Brian, the show has been going in the direction of Olicity since the start of S2. They are the great love story of the show now, they've made that very clear. I'm sorry you don't like it but that's the way it is. No need to be rude to fans just for voting for their pairing.

Brian, the arrow EPs have said that some characters will reach their comic book destinies while others won't. We don't know who will and who won't, but they also said that this version of Felicity Smoak is not the same as the original in the comics.
At this moment Oliver is siding with Merlyn and Laurel but both Diggle and Felicity disagree. I think by the end of the season, he will be acknowledging that Diggle and Felicity were right.
Ray Palmer/the Atom wasn't brought in to give Felicity a voice, he was brought in to try to get yet another superhero show on. Like Barry, they attached him to her so that people would like him.
Sorry if you don't like Olicity, but it's here to stay. It's one of the major props of the show.
