when I look at my phone straight on I see white and gold but when I turn it to a tilt i see blue and black so far I'm the only person I know of that has this effect

Ya when I first saw this picture I could swear on my life it was white and gold as if the light was coming from behind the dress as though the view was from the dark side. For the first ten times I looked at this picture. Then as if someone switched it, now all I can see is black and blue like my mind is playing tricks on me. Its pretty trippy. I am amused...

I am going crazy me and my mom are having a debate on what color this stupid dress there is more important things going on like lamas loose in Arizona so I reccomend just saying it's blue and black because science says so but to be hones I see blue and black the I close my eyes I see white and gold for a few seconds and I am going so freaking crazy what kind of crazy thing is this thingy majigy like for real what the heck is this!!!

It has nothing to do with the screen you are using. On both by PC and phone i see BOTH colors on BOTH devices without changing anything.

It's your screen/manufacturer when ur phone/pc is low on battery is low the brightness changes or the screens are just different.

We were debating this on the way back from Oxford and it KEPT CHANGING!! Like WTF?!?! I saw both but one of my friends only saw white and gold and another only saw black and blue!! I'm having a mental breakdown!!

This is simple to figure out. If viewing the picture on a cell phone , you can manipulate of what the color looks like by viewing the screen from certain angles. For example, viewing the submit comment from the bottem of my phone makes it look baby blue when it's darker blue. Screen brightness...

I've tried to isolate the dress and to highlight pr reduce the highlight but i still couldn't see it as white and gold!! I wonder if it makes us smarter since we see the dress in the right colours:D

Haha I love how they try to "back up their statement" that the dress is blue by showing a random picture of a blue dress it is obviously not the same dress. The Amazon one doesn't have sleeves and is made out of LACE haha not even close to the other one. Nice try come back when you actually have a similar dress.

everytime i look at this damn dress it's a different color. i also just took a video of it on my phone and it was white and gold and then i just watched it again and it was black and blue. whoever made this did a damn good job!
