I'm a huge Simpsons fan, but most, if not all the episodes I like are pre-2000. 2000s Simpsons wasn't really that good. Remember, you're not voting for all of Homer Simpson, just post 2000 Homer who sadly became a caricature of himself.
Homer Simpson of course!! He makes me laugh all the time! And he has been going strong for years and years. Never a dull moment with Homer and his entire Family and Friends!
Don't get me wrong Homer is a great character but not nearly as dimensional as Larry.
As a comedic character, Homer never disappoints. Larry David is a good writer, not such a funny character.
Homer is like the modern day stooge, charlie Chapman, keystone cops all in one character.

Like Bill Maher has correctly stated....most people are stupid. So no wonder Homer is winning.
I like Homer Simpson but it's still a cartoon. For the people who actually recognize comic greatness/genius, in human form, there's no one better than Larry David. Period.
