  Exactly to the commenter below me he's a bad imitation of Dr cox from scrubs. That show is way better and makes everything sad to laughter constantly. The fact that no character from scrubs was anywhere on this list or comedy is ridiculous

  One TV's few original characters! Everyone wants Greg House to "win", even if he IS a jerk! Hugh Laurie is a gifted, versatile actor. I saw him in the British series "Black Adder" with Rowan Atkinson, and he is a complete goofball..so opposite of his "HOUSE" character.
