Do you think it should be illegal for people to smoke in a car that kids are riding in?

why don't the government stop with needless laws and protect the citizens of this country by not letting business, lobbyist, government entities such as FDA, DEP lie about chemicals in their products and foods.

It should be common sense to not subject anyone to a nicotine "hot box" let alone a child. It doesn't speak well for us as in general that there seems to be a need for laws increasingly regulating what we do in private. Laws by themselves do nothing to control private behavior.

Smoking is more dangerous than talking on a cell phone. Make it illegal anyhow.

Regardless of how 'enforceable' this is - if you disagree, you're just an asshole. Might as well just give your toddler a lit cigar and a bong. No child should have to be subjected to second hand smoke in an enclosed area.

Another unnecessary law just like banning plastic bags! Why don't these politicians fix the budget first. Do some real good and cut spending. These people are just useless morons!

Government is always looking for ways to restrict drivers. Why not put a curfew on elderly drivers. There's the real hazard. Pretty soon it'll be illegal just to drive. Where will it end.

Great idea! Kids don't need to be subjected to that. If you wanna smoke wait until you are by yourself.
