Reservations the way they are today are extremely regressive. For sure, reservation or not there are needy people that DO NEED help. Providing help by means of caste does not address the issue of helping the needy. If we want to help them, we need to do away with the current system, and change it to a system based on financial need and not caste.

we all people eat and drink same food and water even we breathe same air .giving reserved seats means creating differences.take an examole of todays life our consumption and basicneeds is all same but bcoz of theses reserved it creates problem to mostly middle class .becoz rich people not affected with price rises and reserved people get subsidies and other extra benifits .But what middle clss people do ,HE cannot ask for or borrow money nor he is getting any benefit from gov.Seriously mango man get crush in between.whther talk about gov jobs,education scholarships,transportaion,loans,home facilities,grocery ie sugar,wheat,rice etc in ration card.,
i dont understand we go in same school sitting together but for further education and daily expenses why we have to pay more!why our budget and saving not getting so well

Reservations are nothing but cheap vote bank politics..!
I have been working in various private sector organizations for over 15yrs & no one ever asks any person's cast or community.. only merit and ability is considered..!
Government sector should also follow the same example..!

Reservation based on caste and religion is a social evil. We are seeing it, that the people given reservation based on caste are getting reserved seats in educational institutes and also for securing a government job. This does not end here. The habit of reservation gets stronger and stronger as on each step there are subsidies and freebies for reserved castes. This induces a characteristic of laziness, dishonesty and corruption in the country. The sufferers are none other then the majority of General Public who do not get such reservations and freebies. The work culture is spoiled in government organizations as reserved caste candidates fare much lower score in academics then general public and logically the output from such people will be low, the education system is spoiled as the reserved caste candidates is not able to cope up with the competitive environment in the institutes.
Many social evils will stop if reservation is stopped. Stop reservation and let breathe India.

The main reason of many evils like corruption & backwarness in India is Reservations based on caste & religion. Primary education in village is not proper today since the teachers are coming from so called caste and they do not have knowledge how to teach they Just became Teacher due to their Cast and not from Merit If Our country has to progress like Developed nation Cast based reservation must end immediately. Private Sector is doing well as they give Jobs on Merit not by Caste basis. Reservation has created many social evils like laziness, dishonesty , insecurity, disparity.......etc. For vote banks , the cunning-traitor- politicians are extending the time period of reservation many times . The almighty God would punish such miscreants. ***Jai Hind.***

Only support the poor / home less / orphans to the extent that they start a good life. . withdraw the Gasubsidies and freebies which are siphoned by the agents / middle men .There must be a law , to prevent Tax payers money being used as freebies - advance booking for Vote. Why ? Enough help has been extended to the so called harijans . harijans have become more richer than the girijans . All such non-sense must be stopped. Let all work and enjoy theie own earning in stead of looting the Hindus to get the votes of the muslims & christians.

Reservations for the less fortunate is a must in this and age. In-efficiencies are the burden on Management they seem too weak to bear. Therefore top-down managerial skills need an overhaul. We always talk about 6-12% Economic Growth just to sustain our population numbers. You have the man-power Raw-Material let us mould it shape it to our growth needs. Equipping our citizens,uniting our citizens must come from the Governments of all shades and colour

Question is general. If you are asking if the reservations should be continued the way it is now. Then I would say NO. For sure more eligible people should get the reservation. Lot of amendment are needed to be implemented. It is very obvious, as a country we are operating at less efficiency.

The government must end all reservations from all systems. Instead of reservation, create equal opportunities to compete with each other. The Have nots may please be supported-without any reservations on Caste, religion.
I would strongly of the opinion that we must now dismiss all caste systems from government records and caste based all projects must be disbanded.
Only support the BPL. Even withdraw the Gas subsidy and freebies.
There must be a law enacted to prevent Tax payers money being used as freebies - advance booking for Vote. Why ?

There should be no reservation.
We should educate the needy who seek reservation by giving them free education/facilities to excel in their lives by hard-work, study and excel and prepare for competition. In India all the citizens should get equal opportunities in all fields - may be it is education, jobs. There should no difference.
In India the Education System is faulty - first one needs to qualify the entrance examination and after qualifying the exam one has to run here and there to seek admission. Example - MBBS. Why the Government make a system and determine who will go where - which college - why one has to go from one place to other. When a particular exam is passed, it should be the responsibility of Govt. to send name of qualified candidates to them and direct them to give admission to qualified students after proper verification.
This will avoid lot of problems.

Even after so many years of Independence the so called cast system has still been in and around due to Cast based bias some cast are reaping rich results even they are in creamy layer of society and have highest paid Central Government Jobs thanks to Their Cast. Those who is in general category do not get admission even though they have higher percentage , Why Primary education in village is not proper today since the teachers are coming from so called caste and they do not have knowledge how to teach they Just became Teacher due to their Cast and not from Merit If Our country has to progress like Developed nation Cast based reservation should be go away,

There should be uniform civil code in all matters. This means uniform opportunities for all, in education, employment. religion, social leanings,life and belongings.
There should be no reservation for anything based on caste/ religion/community.
There may be scholarships for education.
There may be subsidies for the poor, to the minimum to enable them to stand up on their own one day and not to make them lazy and incompetent.
Life is full of competitions and let there be competitions and not complacency.
