I love your newsletter because it is focused on PC/tech/electronics issues that I find both interesting and helpful. You are honest, ethical, trusted and admired by those of us who are subscribers.
There are many recipe, trivia, household, automotive sites already. You need NOT dilute your newsletters with these other subjects.
Thanks so much for all you do!

I have just spent half an hour or so reading the many comments, and I can see the weight of response is that "If it's not broke...", and I must say I agree.
Your Cloudeight Info is always something to which I look forward, and your information is the only thing I trust on the Net about computer use and products.
Your service is always of the highest integrity, and so many of us are relying heavily on your say-so about many things we venture to do.
Your patience and careful explanations are amazing, and, as many have commented, always in a language we can readily understand and follow.
Some have suggested that a small fixed annual charge for the weekly Premium newsletter may be the best option as it would repay or at least be a token of acknowledgment to a small extent your many years of free service we have received to date.
In all, as some have said, "God bless you," and thank you both for amazing help in time of need.
I like it the way it is.

Please continue to do what you are so at, I am sure you spend a considerable time researching and putting the Newsletter together without cookIng tips etc please leave our Nes Letter as is and if you have spare time use it for your self to do whatever you like doing. I appreciate everything you rotor usbutplease no recipes etc.

Please leave the newsletter as is. Only computer information, Please! Adding general information as you describe will only add to the editing required to assure accuracy of the material, an added burden for you without any benefit.
Because of past history, I will continue to support you, but it is my sincere wish that you stick to what you're expert at...

    Dear TC and EB,
I agree with some of the other members who have left comments - your newsletters and Tips and Tricks are a great source of Technical info for us ageing folks (even here in Australia) who just want to know what's good, whats to be trusted and what's not. Your service keys do not expire - ever!. Nobody else has that sort of service.
Keep up the good work and do what you do do well.
If, after all that, you still have time on your hands, write a complete book and I for one will buy a copy - I like your writing style.

Please don't change what we all come to your site for, computer information and help. Clouldeight is trustworthy and tells us how it is and that is what we all expect from you. I only belong to one other site that I pay a yearly fee for ( has nothing to with computers ) and it is excellent. I still think that is an option for you and I sure would pay a fee to KEEP you available to all of us!! Like most people we are on a tight budget but you are SO worth it for what you teach and give us.

Stay with what you are so good at! Would love it if you could add tips fot tablets.

  • Margaret - 9 years ago

I have enjoyed your newsletters since you first began!
But I do agree with the one comment that suggested perhaps adding a joke or a comic. In all of your years as a tech newsletter I am sure you have lots of funny things that happened or questions, situations to draw from.
Because you ask your readers for feedback makes you the best tech newsletter on the net, you really care and that means a lot to your readers.
Keep up the fantastic work and God bless you!

only if those above items related to computer tips: automotive : with tablets, etc: techy stuff

  • Phil Wanchick - 9 years ago

I subscribe to your letter for tech tips. I can get that other information other places on the web. I don't have time to wade through the other stuff looking for computer info.

  • Jeff - 9 years ago

I am not sure why you would want to make all the extra work for yourselves, unless it was some way to better your financial position! Like others have stated, Info-ave is the best in it's class as it is and is well worth an annual subscription, when one would consider all that you do to help people with their computers!
One thing to remember, computers are basically the same world wide and work with the same operating systems, but when it comes to other items in use throughout the world, things can/do vary greatly in different countries.
    Jeff.

There is an old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it" and I think this applies to your newsletter which is excellent as it is. I do agree with Ralph about a computer quiz which would really have the effect of showing you how dumb we all are and what things we need to learn about

  • Sue - 9 years ago

I barely have enough time to read your technical newsletter. and many times I save it to a file to read later because the information is so helpful and not easily available from any where else. However, if I have to struggle through recipes, auto tips, travel tips, etc., I won't even try. I'll cancel my subscription.

I think I have been following you for many years. The one trusted site. I like you the way you are, but if change is inevitable, I hope it is in small doses. An exceptionally good recipe--once in awhile; some amazing auto tip--once in awhile; etc. I would hate to see what you are diminished by other things that can be found elsewhere. I liked someone else's idea about the Kindle or covering other types of electronics. As far as the other stuff, something different and uncommon would be great, but not stuff we can find elsewhere.
Whats new in electronics? What is coming down the pike? A "Did you Know?" column.
The service you provide is unique and I think you should continue to be unique.
I will follow you no matter what because I value your honesty and I trust you. In today's world it is rare to feel this way.

As much as these are all interesting, I'd love to see your newsletter stay just the way it is, full of tips and tricks for pc users and maybe add ipads, iphones or tablets....Facebook is full of recipes, as is Pinterest and scads of cooking sites. I just like your newsletter the way it is..

  • Charlie Paxson - 9 years ago

So far I have loved everything you do. Do not get too involved with 1,000 word essays. I have almost too much & too many, now to read & whatever. Your Daily is sometimes too much for me already.

  • RALPH - 9 years ago

how about a quiz of computer questions and answers to test your readers smarts on computer info you provided for many years. old and current.

  • Janice M - 9 years ago

It's my hope that you will LEAVE YOUR NEWSLETTER ALONE because YOU'RE THE ONLY TRUSTWORTHY computer source I've dealt with who treats people with love, respect and honesty! New tech comes along every day so I KNOW if I need to be knowledgeable and aware about whatever it is--CLOUDEIGHT will ALWAYS have THE HONEST information and ANSWERS!!

I realize there are millions of sites "out there" giving all sorts of techie information BUT-- they don't take a "personal" interest" in MY technical needs; they don't answer ANY question on a "novice dummy" level which is what I need! Anytime I've asked you two what seemed to me was probably a dumb question, you've answered in normal English, not as superior geeks, but as friends who want me to understand!
And, because of that, I've managed to help others with the computer info which you GAVE to me. (Naturally, I always recommend you, too!)

As my friends, I'll continue to support you in any way I can because I want you to succeed and enjoy your lives. It is your decision of course and whatever you decide to do--I'll deeply appreciate because I know IT WILL BE ALL IN TRUTH--and Fun! :-) Thanks for EVERYTHING you've done to make my life so much better!! MAY GOD CONTINUE TO POUR HIS BLESSING UPON YOU--

    Your "Husker" Friend Always!

Your newsletter is about as good as it gets. There is one thing I would like, if feasible. Some tips, tricks, or whatever on using Kindle Fire tablets. I'm learning slowly, but would like some really good info like you have on all regular computer uses. Sorry, if I'm way off the beaten path. Just a 'wish'.
    Milie
