This is embarrassing. Their issue with him "earing the uniform" is absurd. Many , if not most companies hire out of state for higher positions. This is because you want the most qualified person in the position. It is also good to have "new eyes" look at the existing operation . His decision to wear the PA State Trooper uniform, to me says "I am one of you, I am no better". Shame on those who are setting him up and causing such a stink! This man has a family! There doesn't seem to much "protecting and serving" going on for this family.

Sounds like a good ole boy network is afraid of an outsider's honest eyes seeing what's going on. Cronyism doesn't go down without a fight it seems.

Interesting I've never read an accusation against Brown beyond the uniform debate. What makes him unqualified?

What unsavory comments has the Acting Commissioner made? Please do share. He has done nothing wrong and is being attacked for no good reason. He is more than qualified to lead the PSP.

I think there is more to this than just the uniform. It seems to me that PSP is afraid of Brown "shaking things up". Me thinks they doth protest too much...

He should go not just because of the uniform but from all I see of his career and unsavory comments not a decent man to lead such a great organization.

He needs to go. He doesn't deserve to wear the uniform. He did not earn it
