FireEyes, once again you are passing bad information, of which you are becoming famous. Snopes is run by the Mikkelsons and she is a Canadian citizen and has no political ties to the U. S. & he is a registered Independent and had been since the middle '90s. Before that he was a registered Republican. You can not prove Soros has given any money to Snopes.com. If you think you can provide a reputable source.
Jesus, supposedly, did fulfill the Old Covenant's prediction of a Messiah would come but that has little to do with the Commandments and Laws of that Old Covenant.
Christianity was invented! Jesus was born a Jew, lived all his life as a Jew and was only trying to bring the Jews back into the Jewish religion . . . then at his death was crowned with a thorny bush as "King of the Jews." Christianity was invented by Paul. If it hadn't been for Paul, no one would have ever heard of Jesus and there wouldn't have been a Christianity.
If the Old Covenant and its laws and Commandments were not taken away why would Paul's epistle to the Hebrews be so specific as to say that it was "Ready To Vanish Away?"
Who cares who carved what? I do and so does all of us that hate lies being passed as truth. The founding fathers had nothing to do with what was carved on the Capital Building & the Capital Building does not house the Supreme Court.
I don't understand why you feel it is important to lie to people in order to get them to believe you. Just because you have been told lies and believed them doesn't mean we are all as gullible.

This admendment means that no government law making body may make a law , or in anyway support a religion and that such law making bodies may not make laws prohibiting or limiting a religion. This is why, although it ma be a popular idea, praying in public schools or government meetings, placing the Ten Commandments in public places is a violation of the first admendment. thomas Jefferson, who was surley a "Founding Father," was the one who coined the phrase "seperation of church and state." I am a vetran and I took an oath when I enlisted to defend the constitution of the United States of America. The constitution is for everyone, all races, all nationalities and all religions.
Jesus FULFILLED the Old Covenant. He did NOT remove it. Like Mary said, He added to it.
Also Jim, Christianity was not invented. It was created by the Creator Himself to save all mankind, even you Jim, from their sins and so they would not have to pay for those sins in hell for all eternity.

Whoa Jim Smith...the 10 Commandment are abolished?! Better do your homework. Jesus didn't change the old covenant nor dismiss it, but had added His 2 other commands.

The Ten Commandments were written several thousand years before Christianity was invented. The Old Covenant was replaced by the commandments of the New Covenant. The Ten Commandments were reduced to:
"It was to last until Christ came (Galatians 3:16-24). The ten commandments were a vital part of the entire law of Moses (Romans 7:7). Hebrews 8:13 clearly teaches us that the old covenant (the 10 commandments) are all abolished. However, for those under the new covenant we are to hear Jesus and not Moses."
Love was the only thing that the New Covenant Commanded.
1. John 15:12: This is my commandment, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you.
2. John 15:17: These things I command you, that ye may love one another.
Too bad most of today's Christians lack the only thing that the New Covenant Commanded.

Why am I not surprised at the rejection of the 10 Commandments? And yet, they are carved into the stone of the Supreme Court BY the Founding Fathers........how fall we are fallen.
