Bruce Levene--Clearly your rationale is shared by most behind the vote so far. But the "challenge" of this exercise is to pick the BEST play, not the BIGGEST or MOST SIGNIFICANT play. The BEST play is the one that most pundits, players, coaches have so far designated as arguably the best play in NFL HISTORY--"The Catch". How, then, can "The Catch" not be considered the best play at the Met, if it's arguably the best play in 85 years?

Because of the magnitude of it - it can be argued that it was the play that jump started the Giants to a championship - Victor Cruz's 99 yard catch and run vs. the Jets is the biggest play at Met Life Stadium so far.
