What no one is commenting on is the fact that Meghan is doing the exact... EXACT thing that Runaround Sue does... dates lots of guys. She's singing the same song from the opposite perspective. She keeps finding problems with the guys, and is basically saying, hey, I'm not a runaround sue... I have high standards and you guys aren't good enough.

I heard this song come on and immediately recognized it as Runaway Sue, they even have almost identical background vocals. I heard Rebecca this morning say that maybe Megan had never heard the song Runaway Sue, but I don't think that's possible. I don't mean to hate on Megan or anything, but seriously, Runaway Sue was an extremely popular song, not obscure at all. Even though Megan is young (22 according to Wiki), I'm only 26 and I definitely knew that song. For someone who is going to use doo-wop influences in their music, she had to have done some research and would have definitely found that song. I guess you could look at it like 'imitation is the sincerest form of flattery', but I personally love the original doo wop songs better.
