I am so sick of everything being about race. Harry C. Jr. of all people would never be racist. This was about Quinton not thinking about the process of AI. I shudder to think of what Simon would have said. This whole process HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE FOR GOODNESS SAKE. Harry may have jumped to conclusions, but so did Quinton. His attitude after the incident was very questionable. Would not vote for him at all...because of attitude, not race.

I'm with Harry 100%. Quentin was rude and disrespectful and totally out of line. He acted like a spoiled brat, and he needs to learn and display manners. He should also remember that AI has made it possible for him to be there at the show's expense. Don't like it, Quinton, then as Harry said, leave!!!

Harry was right. Quentin was rude and immature, and his attitude was out of line. If Quentin had not acted like he owned the show, Harry would not have had a reason to tell Quentin to leave if he didn't like the way things are run. Quentin knows the rules. It's a contest, not little league where everyone gets a trophy. Not everyone is going to win. Idol is spending money on the contestants, and if they can't respect that, then go home. They are not entitled to anything. Way to go, Harry, the only judge on the show with training and gives the contestants good criticism instead of cutesy, worthless comments.

I believe Harry was totally right in stating Quinton was disrespectful If he had a comment that was his place to tell it after the show/ There are rules in everything we endeavor in life and he did not adhere to that by stating his opinion, at that time.
Harry is a judge and has every right to express his rebuttal.

Quinton was way out of line. Nothing wrong with sharing your feelings but that was the wrong place and definitely the wrong time to do what he did. Totally uncalled for and Harry handled it appropriately. Of course the wrong thing to do now days is to stand up to what it right - just let everyone do what they want and say what they want. It's nice to see that people can actually stand up to an inappropriate scene.

Harry was my favourite judge of all time until this scrap with Quentin. Harry wasn't just out of order, his scolding comments were extremely racist. Don't be honest about your feeling and don't "bite the hand that feeds you"? This harks back to the days of slavery where you must keep your mouth shut and do as you are told/ Ryan's Seacrest's comment later about thinking Quentin was going to hit Harry is racist as well: using a stereotype of the 'black youth as violent' and it just served to reinforce the racism of Harry's scolding comments. Shame on the two white men, who can see past their own privileged position in this world, and who don't bother to understand they are using that power to overpower and oppress others. Shame on you both/

I knew what Quentin meant. He did not mean any disrespect. Just felt bad for his fellow friends. I got it! Harry did not. Harry did not have to call him out in front of millions of people for something he did not understand. Vote Harry off next week!!

Harry was on the money. Quentin knew that AI is a singing/talent competition and that even us viewers at home are disappointed when one of our favorites gets sent home. Time to grow up, man up, and accept the rules of the game and life. Quentin has some talent ( is he the best...NO), but he needs to lose the angry black man dressed like a clown schtick. It''s old and tired. Focus on becoming a better vocalist, not the next Cher costume whore.

Whether you like Quentin or not, the fact remains that Harry jumped the gun. He didn't take the time to know what Quentin actually said, which was that it sucked that his two best friend were on the bottom. He was not being disrespectful to the show. However, Q will need to learn to be cool and not so hot headed until he is in the position to tell Harry to kick rocks. And that when he becomes famous. Q you're a star.

Harry is very rude and disrespectful to Quintin. He doesnt produce or own the show, stop tearing peole down when they are trying to achieve something in life. Who does he think he is? for sure Not Simon. Please please please send Lucifer Harry packing. Keith you are the most genuine with a heart of gold. Quentin was not at fault here. Harry's aggressive comments , left him very little options. He had to respond. This is the second time in just a few weeks, that Harry's dialogue has made me question his intelligence. The first time was a few weeks ago, when saving Qaasim. Harry failed to understand, that when you save a contestant in the top 11, 1 week after Sarina_ Joi, went home and less than a half hour after Tyanna imploded on stage, that you need to sell that to the audience. You do that by listing the contestant's strengths- not by implying Qaasim can't sing. Harry gave fuel to the haters.
Last night Harry misunderstood, Quentin. The overwhelming majority of the audience had no such issues. If Harry had questions why didn't he ask Quentin , in a commercial break? He left the young singer little choice , but to respond on national T.V.
Some of you agree with Harry because Harry is a judge on American Idol. That doesn't make him beyond reproach. It was Harry was disrespectful. Quentin was just reacting. How would you have reacted?

Harry Connick, Jr. is right...it is very disrespectful to the AI and the rest of the country who loves watching a family oriented television show. Kids are watching this show and for Quentin to show some kind of an attitude is very wrong..he is not even an AI and he is already acting like a king...i hope nobody else vote for him...
