Just because the economics and reclamation of squandered time don't work for you, your perspective doesn't invalidate the service for everyone else.
If you do the math to figure out the true total cost per mile of driving your car, the proposed fares look OK.
Depending on how much you value your time, the fares start to look pretty good.
I'm only commenting because I'm part of the normally silent majority & there's way too much NIMBY noise coming from the selfish "activist" crowd ...

I am sure you work very hard for your pay. I wish you well.
But I live in the area and would love to take a train, hate driving.
Problem is I would never pay those fares for the ride and have not found any one else around who would either.

Think your wrong. It's not accurate. And it the paid AAF Supporters that think they're getting a good deal. No one rides the train to Orlando that's been here. Do you really want to pay taxes for a 3rd subsidy?

The "paid" trolls are far more likely to be part of the NIMBY opposition.
The true results will be seen as soon as we have a chance actually ride the train.
