You let Matts' name out. I had to go with my second choice Bam Bam. I wish Bear would grow-up and act his real age being this is supposed to be a reality show.

Why wasn't Matt listed on the Poll? He's funny & his recent problems with Alcohol are very pertinent to people all over the World?! Especially as he chose to Deal With It (through Counseling)!
If Bear says Awesome 1 more time, someone needs to send him to compete in Xtrrme Sporting Events. Let Bear discover the true meaning of Awesome. Usually when someone repeatedly refers to themselves in these sorts of terms, frequently their real feelings about themselves are different!
Noah may be the Bush Genius, some of his creations are pretty cool & he's self taught. I find his attitude towards his brothers, predominantly denigrating, very off putting!
I enjoy the show and the family, particularly bc it teaches people so many things, "To Never Do!" Such as leaving their Tools on the ground while building a house & Winter's blowing in. Searching for their Tools bc they're buried under snow! Really? I agree with the person who Commented about leaving Chainsaws outside & uncovered. Their Most Powerful & Time Saving Tool.
I frequently think that "Brown Luck" is the result of repeated, Brown Family Negligence and Irresponsibility regarding their lack of: Care, Maintainance and Responsible Storage.
Too often it seems that nothing needs to be maintained, until it breaks down. Then, they chalk it up to, "Brown Luck", which should be changed to, "Brown Let It Be, until it breaks down from Overusage & Lack of Maintenance!"
Just looking at the state their Ropes on the "Integrity" (Knotted up, Never Organized & Hung to keep them from rotting in the wet climate they live in & thus, Untangled, when they're needed.) sends chills down my spine as a Sailor.
So much of what they do is by the seat of their pants. The crisis' they find themselves in repeatedly, are of their own making!
Ami, all you seem to think about & your heartfelt desire is for a Lot of Grand babies. Yet, you never want your children to leave Brown town! So, how in the World are your children going to meet women (Or young men), they're attracted to, in order to create your Grand babies? Are these women supposed to be found in the woods, at one of the tiny towns that your family delivers things to? Frequently, at a great deal of unnecessary danger to themselves, the skiff and the Integrity!
It's great to see a large family stay together and care for each other as much as they seem to, on a good day. Yet the Dependence that you, Ami (With Pinched Nerves in your neck and back.) and Billy (Who continues to have undiagnosed Seizures, which must be terrifying for all!) now have on your children, without acknowledging it, stinks. They deserve some form of appreciation for all of the work they continuously do, so that all of you can Survive and Continue your Life in the Bush. With No Option for them to Go Out & Explore Their Own Potential. Remember Noah's reaction to his Girlfriend choosing College? Harsh!
Sometimes I worry about what's going to happen to the kids, now young adults, when Billy and/or Ami die?! All the kids worship Billy & everyone adores Ami!
I think that most of the head butting, between Matt and Bam, has to do with impressing Billy. Unlike Matt, Bam seems to need and want Billy's approval, as the Family's 2nd Leader. It's how Bam's defined who he is in the World.
Matt is a very creative person. I hope he heals! Now, If he'd fill his Tires w/ Dirt & put up Styrofoam or more Earth (between Tires & the Wooden Exterior) Insulation & Wood around his house, he'd have the Warmest Home. Needing the Least amount of heating, in Brown Town! The last Episode was Matt's hunting trip, alone, to prove something to himself & his Family. The fact that he's at least 15-20 miles away from Brown Town concerns me! How is he going get a dead deer, alone, back to Brown Town, 15 miles away, if he gets 1?! Especially on an Island w/ the Largest Population of Bears, who eat Bears, preparing for Hibernation!
Matt, Finding one's Self is Hard To Do! Please, Don't Die Trying!

I love the Browns and this is a show I look forward to watching. I tired of seeing all of the negative posts about the show being fake. Yet these same people have seem every single episode. So why do they watch it if they hate it so much??
Yes Matt is my favorite too!

Billy having 30 years of fishing and they live homeless tooth less I know fishermen that have made big money in less than 30 years something is funny about the whole deal I personally don't thank the parents could make it without the kids it appears to me there being used and that's my opinion and everyone has one.

I believe the show said Billy was a commercial fisherman for 30 years. If so, why can't he purchase a boat that actually floats? The old subchaser he bought and then finds all the dry rot? I'd have put it in dry dock and inspected. I love the thought of the way of their lives in the wild. I worry of the kids and rarely getting to socialize. They need the opposite sex, partners, or whatever is politically correct this week. Matt seems an absolute natural on this show. I think he could really go places. Interesting family to say the least.

While I find this show so chaotic and where nothing pans out, I still find the characters portrayed as likable. Discovery needs to come up with a far more realistic venue. Why don't we ever see them in their home? Like I said, their lives are so hectic, we aren't that gullible!

  • blue123 - 9 years ago

They left off Matt's name. He is actually my favorite.

  • Robert. - 9 years ago

Why did they not have Matt name down, he is great.

  • Nate - 9 years ago

These guys know what hard work really means!

  • Nate - 9 years ago

    What about matt?

  • joy strouse - 9 years ago

I have a very strong feeling that the family treats Gabe like he's stupid. He just needs more experiences in life.

  • joy strouse - 9 years ago

I was shocked when someone left the chainsaw out overnight. That chainsaw is a very important tool and should never be left out. That kind of thing really discourages me from watching this show.

  • robert deininger - 9 years ago

The show does not have to be true,I would just love to live like them, actually the Kelchers [farm folks] would be choice i................how great to farm, hunt, hunt, hunt and fish,,,,,,,couldnt be better

Gabe seems to be the most compassionate of the Browns. He is kindhearted and seeks to please. May God continue to bless you and your family.
