The flag is NOT about slavery, its about half of a new country coming together to have a flag of their on when they win the war. It is about our History, why do the government and the people of today want to destroy our history? It is what has made who we are today. And they want to do away with it? How sad it means nothing to have pride in themselves and forefathers. Pray for our Country.

I can't help what the KKK did when they adopted the the flag, but the Confederate Battle Flag was not about slavery, it was created for the states to have right of their own, not for big brother or the federal government to control everything we do in life. That's what the flag means to mean, even more important today as big brother is attempting to control more and more of our lives every day we live, Jim, USAF retired.
