" no state shall deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

    CASE CLOSED

All men are created equal, that really means something today, and it is huge victory for many Americans. The Supreme Court just gave the finger to all the bible thumpers and bigots in this country. While people have the right to hide their discrimination behind the bible, (kinda like a white hood) the government does not, and that is the entire point.

Horrible that children will be subjected to all these filthy people who clearly need hormone therapy.

It's not an issue I get excited about either way, but since many of the best people I know claim to be gay, and the opponents of gay marriage tend to be obnoxious people with obnoxious views on other issues that I do care about, yes, I'm pleased by the decision.

Steve you are so right. Very weird to me. Now kids are gonna know it's ok to marry the same sex. Only in America, other states aren't sickening like us Americans smh

    Steve, your an idiot.

Leaving it to the electorate is asinine. Please give me an example of a time when the majority has ever voted to protect the rights of a minority.

Gay marriage should not be recognized. It's disgusting for two men to marry and two women. Judgement day is coming for us all.

Well, there used to be laws outlawing whites marrying blacks - that was fixed and now the gay marriage ban is dead. I know you are butt hurt but get over it - you lost. Find a new outrage to make you crazed.

Gov. Christie said it should have been left to the voters. Well, we did just that here in the great liberal state of Calif. and TWICE we rejected the idea of changing the definition of marriage . YET, our vote didn't matter the 9th circuit (should be circus) reversed our democratic method. Now the door has been opened for all types of perversion. Brothers can marry brothers, Fathers can marry their daughters. Its a tragic day in America.
