we think and say what we want to say about govguam..forgetting the hard work there putting in ..becouse when money comes in to peoples problem its about violence or harsh words about this or he/she did this, or made it happen..its reality money is money..you say its your money, true you work for it..but are you really looking at the big picture here..some people will us it wisely, some wont. what im trynna say is money is made to keep us happy or survive in this world..its not going to pay our ticket or pass at the golden gate.. we complane about late refunds, hatting the governor, we say his being stingy with money.. who knows what his doing. but i know that this person we talking about, the governor is a human being to..he has family, he has feelings and love just as all of us..the more money we get or wr know were going to get.. there is just that urgent matter to get it or have it allready.. you see that temptation..we people are building much hate inside that will blow up soon..think about those that dont have money at all..before you start judging someones live or well being..this life we live..is all temporary..money wont buy none of us the happieness we seek..

Filed tax refund on Feb. 16. Called Rev&Tax when it was announced in the pdn http://www.guampdn.com/story/news/2015/07/31/2m-refunds-mailed/30923313/ that Feb 16 refunds went out. However, the lady at Rev&Tax said to read the pdn carefully as it noted "PARTIAL", meaning only some of those who filed on Feb. 16 went out. And that out of 1,567 checks that were processed for Feb. 16th filing, they only had $$$ funds for 567 checks. She mentioned it was randomly selected and not by time-of-day it was filed (I filed early morning). So there's still more to go. It's even noted on Rev & Tax's website https://www.guamtax.com/ that a "PORTION" of Feb 16 were paid out.
Filed FEB. 17th and still nothing... One thing I dont understand is... Last payment was sent out JULY 31st. what are they really waiting for? this thing sen. michael is talking about that Guam would be getting mid sept. ? Dont tell me they didnt get any kind of money from july 31- until now. to pay "SOME" refunds. payments stopped completely... Now if the governor decides not to use this money mentioned by sen michael to pay off the taxpayers and hed rather pay other things. GOV CALVO youre screwed! lawsuit on your hands. Upset taxpayers. Really need this money to help with my grandmas medical expenses.
Planned on having a nice 7th birthday party for my only daughter but since #GOVGUAM is like a turtle with giving out refunds, we had to cancel it. But giving themselves a pay raise was faster than a bullet. Screw the people of Guam they said. It goes to show how they care about "US" Guamanians that voted for them. How is their everyday life compared to a teacher that got .45 CENTS raise on top of their check? IMAGINE WHAT WAS GOING ON INSIDE THEIR HEADS WHILE GETTING THE RAISE AND THE RETRO PAY ON TOP OF THAT? DID THEY EVEN HAVE A SECOND THOUGHT? DID THEY EVEN THINK THOSE FUNDS COULD BE USE TO BETTER SERVE THE PUBLIC? DID THEY EVEN BLINK? One of them politician said " We need the money too because we also have kids that needs to go to college" I was like, dude you can buy a university already. And to all other Senators whatever excuses you MAY have for getting the pay raise, think of us that lives in a small apartment and trying to make ends meet driving an old car without AC. Your excuses are too weak! TO ALL GOVERNMENT LEADERS, GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR BUTTS! Thank you and have a nice wonderful day!!! and please get some work-out at the gym, you guys are getting big from enjoying your pay raises! don't tell me you guys can't afford it now.

I have not received my refund, yet, and I am not going to sweat about it, because this was expected. Most people were blinded last year with the election stories of historic refund payouts. The moment Ray Tenorio called the Senators into session to vote for a raise for himself, the governor and the 15 senators, I knew something was brewing. They would lock in to their raises, secure their retro payments, and then in the near future announce that government finances are in trouble. There never was this "clever management" that they claimed. When Tommy Morrison made the motion on the session floor the repeal of the raises law (thus keeping the raises and retro payments), I knew that the government was ready to hide something from us. When Dennis Rodriguez and Tina Barnes joined Adelup in this stubborn stance to keep the raises, we had to know that this financial problem was rising.
So don't drive to the post office daily to check if your refunds are in, because chances are they aren't. It is sad but a reality.
I filed 6 months and 26 days ago. No return yet. Probable went to Calvo's pay raise and $40,000.00 retro pay

Most of my filings are done in the States.so this is my first time to file here on Guam and still haven't received my $114 dollars..so ridiculous..so sad.
This is too damn long already been waiting.
No money in Gov Guam's coffers. = no money for tax refunds ! They do have money for their pay raise and pet projects ! They don't have money for public school improvements , they do have money for retro pay ! They don't have money to repair the Cabras generators but they have the money for concerts and parties ! They don't have money for infrastructure improvements but they have money for so many off -island travel !
