No private, state, or FEDERAL entity has the right to put poisons into the air that create unhealthy living conditions for communities just because that entity has a POLICY to use one land management option instead of other options. That is the same reason why high elevation aerial spraying of DDT and other pesticides was stopped in the 1970's. It is the long term health effects that hurt you later in life.

So any size of timber sale is halted for no reason or any reason. Yet a 1500 acre controlled burn is applauded as state of the art management. Such a wonderful use of resources. Let it go up in smoke. This logic is as clear to me as our valley has been from the result of this “controlled burn”.
