Before I jury-rigged an old small messenger bag with an inside holster, I was pretty paranoid about printing or leaning over and having an old lady scream in the local supermarket where I go everyday. Someone seeing a glimpse of a firearm in MA, even a legally carried one, could cause the owner great embarrassment or worse here where the local police chief in my small town, a relatively fair guy, determines if you can LTC. I carry when I go to a local more urban town or BOS. You just have to weigh probabilities.

If I'm awake, I'm carrying. If I have to make a post office run, that's an exception. Otherwise, at home, or away, my own self is armed. I don't plan to be a victim.

I work at home. A rifle, shotgun or handgun is always at hand. When I leave home I always carry. Most often a Smith & Wession 642 in a pocket as it is easiest to do. In winter with clothing change the piece carried changes or is added to the 642. Some "gun free zones" I honor, some I do not. If the appropriate signage for my state is posted and I HAVE to go there I don't carry. Otherwise if you post the sign and I don't need your service I don't honor you. I can go to your competitor.

I voted everyday, whenever possible, but too many times it is not feasible. When working, I can't carry. I am, however, learning to force myself to make it a priority to only go where it is possible whenever possible.
I carry at all times when outside of my home, everywhere I go. I don't go into the few places where my gun is unwelcome. I carry openly, most of the time, so even the CC restrictions here don't apply to me. I also often carry inside my home as well, and have access to one or more guns instantly when I am not carrying.
I own my life and am completely responsible for that life and my safety. I have decided that I will never willingly be a helpless victim. And if I never again have to draw that gun to defend myself, I will be very happy.
