I haven't read the book (not for want of trying to get hold of the manuscript), but the word shadow immediately brings to mind thoughts of evil, subterfuge and scariness ..... not sure why - maybe too many movies with evil shadows in them??
Love "of cupcakes and dandelions" and would definitely pick this up in a bookstore! It sounds nice and safe and well nice and safe....

I think dandelion secrets is a beautiful name and really suits what you write about.
Love your book by the way. I think you can go far with this. Hope you have luck finding a title.
