My opposition with Caneveiw High is that there is a Caneveiw Elementary in New Iberia! Proud and long time residents of Youngsville should have a High School that represents the name of the town that is known across Louisiana. Especially since the middle school YOUNGSVILLE MIDDLE will be a feeder school. I am employed with Lifetouch School Studios, and work in 8 parishes and have over 150 schools. I have seen many new schools built and named in my 18 years with the company and the names that I hear negative feedback are just like the choices you have, besides YOUNGSVILLE HIGH. Also consider athletic programs. When competing with other schools in different areas or states, Youngsville High will stand strong with our amazing city that it represents.
