I am not from Atlanta originally, but married into an Atlanta family that has been going to Nino's once a week for as long as my wife can remember. It's the first place I had dinner with when I met my then future in laws, my wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner there (one of the most special and enjoyable nights of my life) and we still go there for any special occasion we can think of.
I am a bit of a spaghetti and meatball snob (I've had meatballs in every city I've ever visited for more than a night) and Nino's is hands down my favorite. The staff is the most welcoming and family oriented at any venue I have ever encountered. Going to dinner at Nino's is always the highlight of my week, first and foremost because the food is incredible, but secondly to see and talk with the staff who is now like a second family. I get to hear the incredible stories of kids growing up and the lovely families they all have. I truly feel like a honored guest every time we are there as everyone who works there stops by to say hi at a minimum.
If I had to my choice of going to any restaurant I would chose Nino's 10 times out of 10...and again I'm a 26 year old non native Atlantan. I HIGHLY recommend Nino's.

The food at Alfredo's is much more flavorful and comes with complimentary side items and will accommodate special requests and provides an opportunity to visit with my good friend Perry and his excellent staff.
