At first I thought this was a joke.... there is no sane reason to change this... No upside .... What if it leads to the death of one person... How can you justify it.... Why is alcohol so important ... Let's worry about health and education and stop this madness....

As a teenager it would be great to lower the drinking age to 18 . At first it could be bad and we must give this law time . If the drinking age is lowered , the drive to drink and to cause caos will lower too . For example , an individual tends to go crazy over something for which one has been waiting for a long time and once that person gets that " something" the individual goes crazy , in this case alcohol is that something and if the time in order to get to alcohol is lowered than so will the desire . At one point , it will become normal . A for the future , kids should be thought how to drink responsibly because like others have said , there are many countries who have no age limit and they are working out , so why cant we ? Just how people can risk their life at war , they should be able to enjoy a nice cold drink .

Me being a feminist believes that women should have the right to drink at 18. Just because we are women doesn't mean we shoils be treated like trash. Drinking is something that cleanses the soul and my soul needs cleansing so let's lower the age of this mother fucker!!!

Me being a teen thinks it's a great idea for the drinking age to go down. Maybe if the drinking age is lowered teens won't have To go behind their parents backs and they can just turn up without going behind their parents backs!!!

If you are old enough to be drafted, and to serve your Country, and take a chance on losing your life, or having your body impaired by a grenade, or by being shot, having a leg or other limb amputated, then I would say that you are old enough to enjoy a beer.

All of these people who are casting their vote, are thinking of what you should have the right to do, they are making decisions for you, which effects your life, because they all think you should be able to be drafted, that you should fight in a war for them, you could lose your life fighting for them, but they do not want YOU, to be able to drink a beer. Is this right??

It's been tried before and didn't work. The young people came to resort towns and it was a total nightmare.

There is NO drinking age in tons of countries. Seems to work out fine for them. Not sure what the problem is here in the US. Seems like bad parenting is more the problem then the drinking age.

I was able to legally drink at 18 and can confirm
    that is a horrible idea.
We have too many driving deaths as it is.

NO, NO, NO!!! The assemblyman would being better serving the state by raising the age of being an adult to 21.
