All very subjective but it was unacceptable for the judges to react the way they did to Laporsha. I would not have ranked Diamonds as an A and Sonika's perfomance as A-. I found the latter's perfomance far superior and there is no comparison in the level of singing though that is not the only aspect of pop. I found Diamonds quite boring frankly though Laporsha can obviously sing well in a certain style. My main point has to do with the really poor taste in behaviour of the "judges".

Laporsha is not a winner she should sing and make Christian music and keep singing in church because that's her type of singing .. Church !!

He's the total package for a great role model for our kids he's polite well mannered not into the eyeliner look and he's talented ... Just sayin

OMG!!! Last night I saw real magic on stage. I saw La'Porsha turn Diamonds into pure gold!!!
That was the performance of the night, the week, the month, the year.
Much praise must go to Sonika as well.
& then there was Kelly... OMG!!! She owned the night. From her awesome turn at the judges' panel to her emotionally wrenching rendition of Piece By Piece... she proved why she's one of the all-time best Idols ever. OMG!!!
I have just one question; is it too late to vote for her???!!! (lol)... ;-) ????

Sonika is far superior to L'Porsha, don't know what all the hoopla about her voice came from. All the runs didn't do a thing for her singing. Was so surprised that the judges were so ga ga over her. Well no actually it's hard to figure out how they chose some of the finalists for instance Lee, he doesn't belong there at all.

Sonia has the look and voice to really go far in the music business. Laporsha can sing and does so with great emotion but I can't imagine seeing her compete with today's pop stars. Harsh but true.
Wow! Just give the girl a contract now...La'porsha will probably get voted off the show because she is a star already and doesn't need "Idol" anymore to prove that so they will give it to someone else. Harry Connick Jr. came out with some back door comments about singers doing runs which was definitely pointed at La'porsha. She wanted to show her vocal dexterity and she "PROVED" it to the 10 power. Harry, I won't miss you......

LaPorsha, last night the audience let America know who blew the roof right off the building. She gave me chills. I have never heard Diamonds song like that before. Totally SLAYED IT TO THE HIGHEST POINT OF SLAYING!!! LOVE LAPORSHA????

OMG!!!! LaPorsha is such an amazing singer. I recorded american idol just to record her sing. I listen to her sing this song Diamonds by Rhianna 10 times and over tonight. She has such a beautiful spirit and I would definitely come to her show. I will be voting for her every week. Hopefully American Idol will get this message because I would love to come and see Laporsha in person.
