I just loved both Season 1 and 2!! It was so awesome that you were able to use the same actors/actresses! What a fabulous crew you have! Have to admit I was disappointed with the endgjng! Would have love to found what happened

I loved both seasons. The acting was superb with these actors playing such different roles in both seasons. The story lines were exceptional. The only criticism I have is the ending of season 2. There were too many unanswered questions and I am not a big fan of cliffhangers.

Enjoyed the story writing, the characters and especially the ending. It is compelling us to realize nothing in life is as easy as a yes or no response. The ending is haunting such that I continue to reflect on the possibilities of both boys' lives. Thank you for a wonderful ride.

I love the show. Been a huge fan since season 1. I am seriously disappointed with the season finale though. There are way too many questions left unanswered. They could have done a way better job with the ending.

I watched Season 1 and really liked it. When Season 2 started I watched for sure. At first I was like what's going on? Are these all the same actors from season 1 playing different roles? I couldn't believe it! This Was Brilliant!! It was so fun to see the same actors in different roles like a murderer from season 1 playing a principal on season 2; or a grieving mother from season 1 playing a head of a private school etc. amazing! Victims were now leaders and role models. Thank you for this. I was instantly hooked! Please have a Season 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ........... I love this show. Brilliant!

I enjoyed both seasons and the acting by all is phenomenal. But, I would've like a little more clarity on the night in question with Taylor and Eric, that started the ball rolling. And it was great to see people taking responsibility for their own wrong doings. But, we still ended without knowing if it was Taylor's or Eric's wrongdoing that night at the party. With the sex, drugs, etc.

Unfortunately I did not see any of season 1. I liked season 2 a lot. As for the cliffhanger ending it was very good if the story continues in a season 3. If it does not continue I would have preferred that the unanswered questions had been answered. A lot of gay kids have a lot of problems growing up and it's important that we acknowledge this. Life does not always work out for the best in the end for everyone but a 3rd season with a continuation from season 2 could bring about a chance for these gay boys to get their lives back on track and get a second chance. It could be an opportunity for gay viewers to see that everyone is not against them and that everything is not hopeless....that sometimes bad situations can be turned around so they should never give up.

Most agree....disappointing finale. Writer claims it was suppose to be like a novel, leaving the ending to the imagination of the reader.....! But it was a TV series. Extremely disappointing. Loved Season 1, loved Season 2 (minus finale) Please give us more, another season with a "wrapped-up" finale.

As others have commented, the acting in this series is amazing. I also applaud the writing on the show, the complexity of the characters, and the tackling of issues seldom addressed to this depth on network TV. But I was very disappointed in the finale of season 2. I wasn't looking for everything to be wrapped up with a tidy bow, but I do think the audience deserved at least *some* resolution on major characters and plot points.

Let's recap: We *never* find out if Taylor was drugged against his knowledge or if he took the drugs himself, we *never* find out if it was raped or not, we *never* find out exactly what Kevin's and the other basketball players involvement was in the alleged drugging/rape the night of the party, we *never* find out why Evy was so convinced Taylor was raped (did she see more than she admitted to?), we *never* find out who posted Ann's medical records online, we *never* find out if Taylor takes the plea deal, and we *never find out if Eric continues his risky path of online hook-ups or not.

That's a LOT of unresolved issues in my opinion, and it felt like a very lazy choice to me by the show creators/writers. To have been taken on such an emotionally exhausting "ride" and then just be left dangling left me with a "hit-and-run" feeling that was such a turn-off I don't know if I can bring myself to watch another season (*if* it is renewed). I think the characters deserved better, and I think the loyal audience to this show deserved better.

The acting was great but I agree it was disappointing that so much was left unresolved. I think Anne was responsible for a lot of this. I never got the feeling that it was about her son, it seemed to be her own unresolved issues and insecurities that kept her from letting the mess go. If she loved Taylor, she would not have continued to publicly humiliate him in her "quest for justice". I'm surprised he didn't kill him self and I'm glad he expressed his feelings in jail. The other unbelievable mom was coaches wife. Who shares that kind of damaging info about their child with the enemy? Made no sense. Was this mom secretly hating on ger daughter? Did she have that much confidence in the justice system? Was it ger husband she was trying to ruin? I know marriages can be complicated but this was over the top strange.

This show is unique. The acting is great. There isn't a show on television that can even compare to the caliber of acting that this show produces. The idea that you can take the same people and switch their roles/characters to fit a storyline is truly amazing. I'm not sure if it has ever been done before. I think it would be foolish not to keep this show going. It is definitely a hit. Although I wasn't pleased with how this season ended, I was compelled to watch every bit of this season. It is truly amazing!!!!

The acting was phenomenal, but I felt like the ending was rushed. I felt like there was such build up and then it was like we only have so many weeks so have to end it. I was not looking for a happy ever after ending, but would have liked more closure. I look forward to the next one.

I don't like cliffhangers. Especially with a story line like this season of American Crime.

For me, the Season 2 finale was a disappointment because I think was a cop out. It worked in The Sopranos but for this series, I think the audience and the characters needed a plot resolution worthy of a compelling and complicated story. I loved the ensemble cast--every one of them was brilliant in each season. Do give us a third.

I liked Season One a lot more. Season two was good but was a little disappointed in finale but I guess we each can decide final decision of the 2 boys involved. Very good job by actors.

Leslie, this woman...was it really her, or the coach, or Michael, or all three together?

  • Samantha - 8 years ago

I like that the school board lady finally got exposed but we didn't like the cliffhanger. Need a season 3 to complete the mystery.
