@Jim at the end of the day.....does it really matter! You have your opinion and I have mine.
Happy St. Patrick's Day.

@Farrell you didn't read mine, I said that this Farrell team wouldn't even compare to the 2014 Peter's team. AA Island teams are completely different from AA city teams, and Farrell didn't beat one AA city team while St. Peter's had several wins against city teams. Farrell had it's chance and couldn't even beat a top 4 city team, where the 2014 Peter's team was, a top 4 team. If you wanna talk about match ups those years, Farrell got beaten badly by 25+ points those years while Farrell won both games this year by 6 and 10. Island teams aren't tough, city teams are. The competition STP had in their division is light years harder than Farrell's competition, and STP still had a better record.

@Joe, you may have not read my comment, we played many tough teams this year - AA and beat Peter's twice. Not sure what you are saying.

@Farrell St. Peter's used a 7 man roster. Even during garbage time those players kept the same lead/ expanded them. When Farrell can compete with CITY AA teams, not Staten Island, they can be in the talk. There's a reason why teams like STP and Curtis can easily go undefeated, but have a tough time competing against city teams from the AA Division, they're much tougher. They played ONE AA team from the rest of NYC and lost by 13, and they weren't even the top four in the city this year. Comparison's a joke.

A coach that keeps their starting 5 in against weak teams will blow out other teams. Farrell is an A team and played Cardinal Hays, Curtis Susan Wagner, Curtis, St. Peters and Scanlon..

The St. Peter's team that year had two division 1 players and was ranked the best CHSAA team in the city after beating nationally ranked Cardinal Hayes. They lost two games in the regular season by a combined 3 points, and only lost the other two in the Archdiocesan final and the AA Inter-sectional Semifinals. They blew out competition on Staten Island like it was a joke winning a lot of games by 30+ points, and Farrell can't say the same thing. The closest game against an island team they had that season was by 13 points- in the SIHSL Title game. Not even a fair comparison, Farrell is good, but not great.

This Peters team beat a team that was number 1 in the state! and a Raymonds team for the first time in years!!!

Shouldn't be just about winning a weak Staten Island division. Veryyyy WEAK

When they beat a AA city team. Then they should be in this mix of talent that's left in the bonanza. Their starting lineup has 1 college player on it. MAYBE two. They have no business even being left in this poll. Face the facts. Every team left would be favored by 25+ against that Farrell team.

Get your info straight before making obscure comments. Farrell was in the CHSAA A division, and had to beat "AA" teams on Staten Island including Wagner and Curtis to win the island. AS a matter of fact, The single "A" Lions swept the "AA" Eagles in their regular season series.

What a joke. The Farrell team doesn't even play in the CHSAA AA. They are in the B division of NYC. There rewarded by playing mediocre teams.
