Which one is irreplaceable though? Gotta be Beckham everyone. We had two other monster LB at the time of Banks, so I can't say that we wouldn't have still gotten 2 SB's without him, without Odell however we wouldn't have won a single game this past year. Did anyone watch the week 16 Vikings game? Guy carries our team singlehandedly, literally lol. I'm not ignorant though, I know the reason why we have 4 rings is our defense, with respect to great performances by Manning Simms and Hostetler in every game, without defense we have nothing, but having the best WR in the game makes it easier and less demanding for the defense to keep points off the board, and makes it possible for us to have the 5th highest scoring offense in the NFL. With these new defensive signings the future is bright coming off a year where a 6-10 record does no justice to how competitive a season we had. Lost at least 4 of these games by game winning fieldgoals, and lost another 3-4 on game winning drives. Lack of defense is the issue right now, our offense is legitimate. Odell has to be the more valuable 1st round pick out of the two.

Even though I am voting for Banks here is am tired of the "North Super Bowl Rings" as to why one player is better than the other, but if not mistaken a Super Bowl victory is a TEAM effort. We should be looking at Pro Bowl's and All Pro selections when doing these things. Banks has more either way so should be him anyway.......

Banks all the way. Last time I checked rings are more important then stats and pro bowls. Banks helped create a dominate D and was a beast. Big reason we won two Super Bowls.

Man.... banks all the way. He was was a leader of men on one of the best defensive squads not only in giants history but in nfl history.... Banks two rings Beckham two 6-10 seasons how odb is even in the conversation is mind boggling .. Just a case of prisoners of the moment i suppose

No way you can put two years of fantastic play against an entire career! Beckham has so much to learn both in his skill play and his emotional control. KILLER CARL BANKS had a full career of fantastic play, as well as doing so much off the field with much dignity.
No way guys, Beckham still has a very long way to go. All you young Giant Fans are uneducated in the history of the GIANTS,
    Wake up and learn!

AS a fan of Beckham's I still can't justify picking him over a 2x SB Champ and a player in the Giants ring of honor. And Banks, LT, and Carson are a big reason for the Super Bowl victories.

I know the young guys like Beckham. I personally love them. Our guy Mr. Banks though two Super Bowl rings I believe and MVP in the Super Bowl as well. That speaks for itself. Odell I hope you get seven !

Yeah beckham is very good but hasn't one us any rings yet so I can't justify picking him. I wish I could of seen banks play but I wasn't alive yet. Hopefully people don't pick beckham because he doesn't deserve it.

Yes Beckham is prety good, but I have to say he is still young, and has so much to learn. He will not doubt become one of the best.
On the other hand Carl Banks was a Monster playing defense. He earned by his playing the respect of all the teams he played. There was shuckin and Jivin in his game. A true smash mouth "KILLER" we will never see the likes of again.
