5 or 6 total rushing TD's all season isn't enough. Plus all the punting the Giants had to do with a 4th and 3 or shorter throughout the year. The offense was the 6th best scoring offense in the league so it can't really be the O-line, the RB'S aew average at best. If he's there at 10 Giants have to get him because there is a lot more talented defensive players in rounds 2-7.......

I love Defense, no question, but I can't begin to count the times last year that Eli handed off up the middle for Zero- 2 yd gain. We need a game changer, Elliot IS that kind of talent.

The Giants need LB, OT, and FS more than a DE or RB. LB Miles Jack would be the dream guy we draft, but I doubt he will last till the 10th pick. More realistally, I would be very happy if we draft OT Ronnie Stanley or OT Jack Conklin, as that would fill a big need and he would start right away. Also, McAdoo has said he wants to imrprove the team up front in the trenches. He has already improved the DL thru free agency, and I think if the Giants does what he says, they will improve the OL by drafting OT Stanley or Conklin.
I know I'm off topic, so the topic is DE Lawson or RB Elliot. Both are not major needs as the giants have two very good DE's and decent RB's. I dont think lawson would be an upgrade over our DE's Vernon and JPP, but I do think Elliot would be an upgrade over our RB's Jennings, Williams, and Darkwa, with Vareen still the 3rd down back since hes a great pass catching RB weapon on 3rd downs. So I would have to go with RB Elliot over DE Lawson because I think Elliot will contribute more, get more playing time, and actually be an upgrade.

I've watched tape on both and I'm convinced Ezekiel has rare talent you don't see everyday he's an impact player from start to finish passing up on a kid like this would be a big mistake regardless of the roster best player available he's a top 5 pick as far as talent
