Plain and simple VH. I mean even the combine tape shows that VH has better hands than Treadwell. Put him at WR and Nickel.

Gonna keep this short and simple as best I can.. We've addressed defense in fa lots of money there we CANNOT afford to ignore the wr position keeping fingers crossed hoping Cruz comes back as good as he once was injury free IF he plays at all ( just look back to last year) we need another BIG dependable playmaker at wr or obj gets overworked and double covered all season.. Bottom line absolutely need to address wr position or its gonna look like our defensive end position last year without Pierre Paul.. Paul comes back last eight games and all of a sudden offensive lines can't double team whoever the better end is.. Can't make that same mistake at the wr position... Just can't.. too many great corners out there and we need more than one great receiver.

In this case I go Hargreaves. Only because our defensive secondary still needs help. I'm not denying that we need a WR. But when you look at our losses last year it was due to our defense letting teams March right down the field. Our offense was good. Not great, but good. Having a secondary that dominates makes it easier on the front 7 to get to the QB. We have upgraded our D lineman and have some questions at LB but I have faith in what we have. JT did a great job when he was out there and Kennard can get to the QB even without a good d line. And Robinson is a worker. He just has to stay healthy. All of which could be said about that core. But with the corners locked down with DRC and JJ we need that slot guy who could shut down those nifty WRs. The better we make our secondary, the better our guys will be up front. I do believe the giants need to have a WR other than OBJ doing all the work. And Cruz is no sure thing. I don't believe we need another first round WR though. We need a #2 or #3 WR to finish out that core. Even before WR I would like to sure up that OT spot. Once we build that wall up to allow Eli enough time to pick apart a defense it won't matter who we have running routes.

Giants need help in the secondary more than in receiving. With 6 total rushing TD's all of last year the Giants still ranked 6th in scoring offense. My opinion a CB/Safety is much more a need then WR. Though a 3 down RB would help keep the chains moving.

VHIII is by far the better pick here, he is the BPA among CB's (asuming Ramsey is gone). Treadwell is not even a consensus BPA WR, and in fact this WR draft class is among the worst we've seen, so even if he is the BPA WR, it doesn't really say much. A WR2/3 can be taken in later rounds as good or better than Treadwell.

I think treadwell would be the best pick right here because we haven't had a big body receiver like him since Plaxico Burress. And you see how well that turned out. With OBJ on the opposite side of him it would cause a lot of problems on the opponents defense. Not forgetting that we have Victor Cruz. With all 3 of them our offense would be one of the best. There aren't many teams with 2 lock down corners; led alone 3. Our offense was a high scoring one last year. With the addition of Laquan Treadwell; it would possibly make it one the scariest offenses if not the best next year.

The sweet spot for a WR2 is the second day in the draft...Tyler Boyd would be the best fit for the New York Football Giants. We have to draft this guy!
