In the mid 1970's the Fox theater faced demolition but the Atlanta community and even broader community became incensed and the architectural icon was saved. Though it was not 50 years old it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places given its architectural importance. Why is there not the same outrage about the potential destruction of Breuer's masterpiece? Who can or will take the leadership roll to investigate the options to save this structure?

It's the interior that needs work. Last I visited it was like a middle school under power shortages. Refurbish and let the light in!
