I honestly dislike this "new spin" on the powerpuff girls. The voices(especially buttercup) don't sound natural if you were to compare it to the original. From what I've seen so far, it's lost it's stodgy touch in an effort to reboot it to a newer generation with the main characters.In my opinion , even the classic staples of the series look like they got hit by a truck. There is no baby faced phone(now smartphone), the overall theme opening/closing, the professor I don't even know anymore, the fight scenes aren't as intense ,the faceless lady, the beams of color from the girls flying are rarely added,they added this reappearing character(rather repetitive) ,the coloring and art style has lost its partial Hanna Barbera charm. Although I dislike the changes , I can see that it has adapted to its new demographic/audience and how it could appeal to them. Did Craig McCraken even have a hand in the reboot?

I actually watched all of the originals with my daughter that snow in her 20's. I currently have a 9 year old son that we had watch all the origin before the new ones aired. He says the new ones are much better! Take it from a kid...it's a success!

I watched the original series and loved it. Buttercup was my favorite character. The new series is just okay! I really dislike Buttercup's voice. It does not match with her personality. It makes her sound like a boy... I really wish they would have kept the original voices. Their "new" voices are not good at all. Very sad they didn't try to get the powderpuff girl's original voices : (
