I want to be constructive here but I feel like the entire UI needs to be blown up and rethought. At a high level, i would peraonally start by reusing the flow of a leading maps app like Google maps. All of the power features should be hidden away. Basic things like "search by name" should be prominent and just work. Currently in order to search by name, I need to stumble around through at least two menus.
