Like going to your spouse's funeral and next to the casket is a photo of the person who broke up your marriage.

Just a note about revisionist history, intentional or not. People are saying, "Favre will be remembered for being a Packer". Yes, by the people who lived through his career, but in coming years people who weren't there will "remember" whatever they see in front of them all the time.
A few years ago, a Balt. Oriole rookie had never heard of Frank Robinson, an all-time great. All ESPN, etc. ever shows is a 40-year-old Hank Aaron taking one swing with an out-of-place-looking vowel on his cap. To those who lived through his career, the Milwaukee Braves' great is just that.
Point: people who weren't around will "remember" whatever they have put in front of them repeatedly.

Leave it to Minnesota Vikings fans to elevate an ephemeral(2 year) abberation to
Hall of Fame immortality.

The HOF put the jersey in the locker, and, to them for a very good reason. Come on Packer Fans, all Brett did for the Vikings was extend their SB and playoff heartaches. His longevity record is incredible and he broke it with Minnesota. Favre will always be known as a Packer who didn't spend his whole career with just 1 team, which was the case for many before him. I didn't like his reasons for joining the Vikings or him beating us that first year but Pack had their vengeance the following season. Someday there will be a statue of him outside Lambeau, not that glassy edifice or the thankfully retired metro dome.

If, in fact, he did approve the grape soda garb hanging next to his sacred Packers jersey, shame on Brett. My understanding is that Canton had made that decision. Maybe not. Oh, well, it's his career, his legacy and if he feels those two years were anything more than an asterisk so be it. I will ONLY remember him for his years wearing the Green and Gold.

That's a kick in the pants to all us Packer fans. Back to being mad at him again.

Whats more upsetting is him saying he wasn't aware the display was going to be that way when in fact he approved it to be that way!!!
