Will the bailout save the economy?

I do not think that this bailout is going to "save the economy" but it's a necessary evil. If nothing was done, chances are that we would be worse off than we are now. However, that doesn't meant that it was presented to the American people or passed correctly. Once again, the government lost a chance to do the right thing by loading this bill up with pork and essentially bought the majority. This is common practice in politics, but we need better leadership in times like these.

McCain's recent proposal for the housing market is ludicrous. If you'd like to read more about it please check out my blog at http://anationaldiscourse.blogspot.com

As mentioned in your blog, a prime moral is justice. And I believe this is why the American public is attempting to scream bloody murder over the bailout of these large financial institutions. They do not "morally" deserve a bailout. They deserve justice. America is, at heart, much more liberal than they have been lately apt to admit.
