Stephen, last year when we originally proposed the by-law we proposed towers on the golf courses and the GCII Zoning District, this was opposed by various town boards. Hopefully the Alternative Energy Committee will have some success in convincing people that we should pursue expanded opportunities.
It is about time Dennis Ok'd Wind generaters. There are some very good ones that are small roof top or pole mounts. The town should put the vertical axis units on all of the water tanks. The golf course could use a couple of the bladed units at each course to power the pumps, etc:. I have asked about these in the past and have been told "they are not allowed". We should put towers and a sewer line right down Rt 6 and let the whole cape benefit.
