Are these politicians nuts? I'd love to see them live in the Lehigh Valley on $9.25 an hour. In fact politicians, give it a try! Have they seen what just rent goes for in this area? $1000 - $1500+. $9.25 an hour wouldn't even cover Chris Christi's food budget. Why do Republicans ALWAYS VOTE AGAINST raising the minimum wage? And the Democrats are certainly no prize, however, they are the only ones that even bring up increasing the minimum wage. If the minimum wage would have kept up with the cost of living it would be over $20 an hour. People lived better 30 years ago then some do now.
