I dont know about these Neo Church members except for the one in my school who never acted better, or more "holly" than anyone else and i think people are judging them to harshly just for following the same religion in a different way; a way which is praised by the pope (i searched it, you can to).
As for archbishop apuron why cant anyone wait to here if the vatican will declare him guilty then we'll know for sure. Has it even come to the extent that we cant let the pope and the cleregy in Rome determine who is guilty. I am sure he will be permanently removed if he is guilty withought the help of hon or concerned catholics.
I think there is just a lot of misunderstanding on both sides. But it is only right to point out that this neo group is a practice done all over the world asaia, europe, north america, south america, etc. And anyone can become a member if they want.

I see so many righteous men and women here making bad comments and judging the Catholic Church and asking for Apuron's removal.

I understand what the accusers went through in the life but what are they seeking justice or money? As for the so call concern Catholics, what are you people looking for? Why bothered with that property? What if the donor was related to Apuron? What if it was his aunt who deeded the property to him? You concern Catholics should be removed too and stop working for the Church. Why worried about our Church property? We don't concern ourselves with something that got nothing to do with us. We will come and go(born and die) but the Church will live forever.

"And i tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church and all the powers of hell will not conquer it." We are the Church, and our Religion is the Roman Catholic Church.

People need to learn how to forgive others. Seeking earthly justice won't get you to Heaven. You people already crucified Apuron before God judge him. Only God judge not you and me. Our job is to forgive and love. Who are we to know if Apuron asked God for forgiveness long time ago. Look at the ages of those men, Apuron was in his early 20s and 19 years old. Some happened before he even ordained. And yet who knows the truth? Only God.

I hope before they sign the bill, God will show us the sign if it's okay or not. Only Him will do the work and solve the problem in His own way.

For those of you that talked about judgement day. What judgement day you're talking about? I thought you guys are the judges of him and our church. No matter what you all said, we Catholic will never fall unless God say so. We will always the True and original Church of Jesus Christ. Look at all of you who commented here and talked about the Bible. Which verses in the Bible talk about what you all doing and saying about Apuron? Only those who are faultless have the right to pass judgment on others.

Matthew 18: 21-22. Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how times I shall forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times but seventy-seven times." Luke 17: 3-4 So watch yourselves. "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and say, 'I repent, 'forgive him." Luke 6: 37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

    I love our Archbishop!

There is no due process of law at this point in time only that he is being hanged by the press and a Catholic activist group. They are the judge and jury at this point in time.

He has abused innocent children, lied & stole the property of the Catholic Church. He is not a bishop nor a priest. He needs to be held accountable & removed from the office. He needs to seek forgiveness & get help. Any and all of who new of these actions need to be held accountable for the same. God have mercy on your soul. I am a sinner also, we all are but those who hurt children in particular will be dealt with by our God.

He who is without sin cast the first stone. It seems many of you don't sin.

I doubt that Apuron would voluntarily arrive to court to face anything. If he was to be extradited, I think he would commit suicide before he comes back to Guam. More likely in a body bag. Though I would like to see him brought to justice alive!

This man is corrupted, tainted, pathological liar, rapist, not of sound mind. His former close clergy friends and family are the 100-no votes.

  • Appalled - 8 years ago

though I am almost sure Apuron is guilty of the allegation of sexual offenses, I would be like a jury member who must abide by the law of innocent until proven guilty. I am not in the position to cast the first or succeeding stones until after the Holiness Pope Francis and or the court finds him guilty as charged. I will continue to pray for all those abused for healing and ask the Lord for blessings, and for Apuron's declaration of the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

You don't need a priest to pray to God or even a church. Besides the Catholic Church here has become more of a fashion show than a place of worship. Like God is actually giving out awards for best dressed. Lol #getreal #banidosu

With the secrets coming out now, how can we trust who ever the church chooses. What are the chances that all of them have dark secrets that one day will come out like Aporun. Aporun had to face the public and his victims if he had nothing to hide.

The evidence is clear that Apuron and some of his underlings are selfish hirelings, and not true shepherds of the flock. If you don't know what a hireling is, consider this:

"But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep."
    John 10:12-13, KJV

If Apuron and his underlings truly cared for the sheep, they would not have repeatedly sexually abused them.

How anyone can vote to keep this man in charge of the Roman Catholic Church on Guam is beyond me.

Yes, we are to love and to forgive, but this sexual abuse has endured for many decades, which makes it rather clear that there has been no real repentance on the part of the accused. Likewise, Jesus said this:

"But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea."
    Matthew 18:6, KJV

I wouldn't want to be in Apuron's shoes the day that he stands before the Lord for judgment.
