Do you think that the City of Cle Elum should make curbside recycling available?

This is common place in many other places in the state and around the country. We had curbside recycling in Vancouver 25 years ago, and they currently provide this service in Ellensburg, so this is not a new model. This can be done in upper county too.

There are pros and cons to this. Pro, I would recycle if there was curb side pickup and not have to worry about getting to the waste station during their hours. Con, we're a spread out community. In town probably wouldn't be a problem but I what about the people living outside of the city limits, would they get a tax increase and receive service? Or will they be expected to pay and receive nothing? Or possibly they'll be excluded all together. I guess I would like to see a detailed plan that included the expected increase per household, possible routes and pickup times, will we need to purchase recycling bins or will we 'rent' them from the city. There's just alot of unanswered questions that seem like they were partially answered but not fully clear. It's a good idea and I know I would recycle but theres just alot of unknown and half answered questions that need to be addressed.
