I was really disappointed. I like all of the twists and turns of this show, but Wes was the heart of it all - none of the other characters are as compelling or central to the show. I'm done with it.

I don't think Wes is dead, he might be alive in S04, because besides Analise seeing his dead body no one has actually seen his dead body. Even when laurel wanted to see him in the morgue she could not see him so
I think Wes might be involved in a mega ploy with the detectives to take down Analise, but i don't know if he could do that...waitin for S04!!!

I am Sooo disappointed!! About Wes!! I told people to watch this show. It was the BEST TV Show since Grays.. and very well written!!! I even told people season 2 is even better than season 1. I was a little behind on season 3 so I literally watched season 1 and 2 all over again. I would stay up late to get caught up on season 3 to see who was dead..
When they pulled the sheet and it was WES I cried and was VERY upset! I stopped watching and went straight to the last episode to see if it was a fake! It wasn't!!
I want season 4 to have Annalise wake up from her bad dream after she got drunk and went to Bonnie's house, fell asleep and realize it was a nightmare !! Cause Wes being dead is!

I too am a deligent fan and viewer of HTGAWM and It took me a minute to accept that it was Wes that was under the sheet. I beg of you ....Please adhere to the comments! I'm not an advocate tv watcher, i'm actually quite selective in what I watch; however, this was/is one of my favorites.
Your decision in bringing (or creating a mystery towards such) Wes back will determine whether I will still be watching HTGAWM. I believe you will make the most intelligent decision that we all are asking for. Thank You!

I'm hoping Wes had some kind of deal with the cops to fake his death for some reason- like maybe the body was a fake? I stopped watching after Wes died but if I find out he's not dead, I'll watch again. I just have zero interest in the show if he is dead. That was an idiotic move.

Killing Wes was the dumbest thing the writers could do. He was not only my favorite character but probably over 50 percent of the viewing audiences character. I am sure the show is going to take a nose dive without him. His character had more depth and history than any other except for Annalise. Good luck with years of renewals like Grey's Anatomy and Scandal!

I mean I get the intensity and just complete sick and twisted mind fuckery this show likes to present to its viewers. However, killing off Wes and not even leaving it where he could "by some force of Keating nature" not actually be dead, is just too far. Between heartbreak and just being royally pissed off with this finale, I can definitely see how this show just lost some viewers. It's so sad because it was a great show but there just isn't anything left to do after we find out who killed Wes, just complicated storylines and love triangles. The finale was thrilling up to the point of seeing Wes dead.....as others have said he started the show...it revolved around Annalise and him because of his childhood...killing him makes no sense....I just don't get the sense of it....I would have prefered a warped relationship betweenn them tbh...not his leaving the show....it was a huge mistake on the show's part...should have been Nate who can easily have been replaced

It was a great ending, one I did not expect, but I'm bummed that it was Wes. I absolutely love his character and the complicated (mother-son) relationship he had with Annalise. I had a feeling during episode 1 that it was Wes because of how Annalise screamed as I felt that ihis death would hurt her the most (but I was also in disbelief that the show would kill off Wes as he is one of the best characters in the show.... but oh was I wrong!!). I'm excited to see who killed him and why, but don't know how the show could continue to be interesting without him after his murderer is revealed. Plus there is a baby with Laurel to think about. However, all the relationships between the main characters are getting complicated. Maybe it's time to add another character to switch things up a little bit in S4, but no one can replace Wes!!!!!

While I too am sad to see Wes gone, keep in mind that Sam died on S1E1 and he's been gainfully employed thru all 3 seasons. So many unanswered questions about Wes' life after his mom died, I'm hoping S4 will have major flashbacks like the beginning of this year did.

It was a fantastic ending, but I am disappointed. I did not want Wes to leave. From Shawnda to another Shonda I wish you would have not killed his character this soon. The show will not be the same without him. I am grieving. Not that I did not enjoy the other characters, but why could it have not been someone else other then the students. He helped make the show. Maybe you need to keep him in besides letting us know who killed Wes. Maybe have some flashbacks or some scenes where Wes will hunt Annalise. She drinks a lot so have his character impose on her concious some how. Bring Wes back.

But something I noticed: when Annalise was at the beauty shop with Mary J. Blige's character, there was a picture of an African-American male Wes' age. The way the scene was shot, the picture stayed in focus as if it were intentional.
I am wondering if there was some connection between the two young men.

I am just....beyond. This is how shows loose their way. Too many surprises in the early seasons. They paint themselves in a corner by 1) having nowhere to go from here; and 2)
You will never be able to live up to this level of shock without becoming outrageous. And in most cases...unbelievable.
So I feel like not only am I mourning the death of a beloved character but the early death of a beloved show.
#Too early for a Keating 5 death. #That should have come in season 5.

Nate killed him....he's always been creepy....saving Annalise secrets for no reason....then he shows up to check on the body.......but you never know how crazy Nowalk can get....he can get Frank to do it....or even Micheala's Mom to have planted a bomb or even god knows what....its crazy and I love it

It was a great ending, one I did not expect, but I'm bummed that it was Wes. I absolutely love his character and the complicated (mother-son) relationship he had with Annalise. I had a feeling during episode 1 that it was Wes because of how Annalise screamed as I felt that ihis death would hurt her the most (but I was also in disbelief that the show would kill off Wes as he is one of the best characters in the show.... but oh was I wrong!!). I'm excited to see who killed him and why, but don't know how the show could continue to be interesting without him after his murderer is revealed. Plus there is a baby with Laurel to think about. However, all the relationships between the main characters are getting complicated. Maybe it's time to add another character to switch things up a little bit in S4, but no one can replace Wes!!!!!

While I too am sad to see Wes gone, keep in mind that Sam died on S1E1 and he's been gainfully employed thru all 3 seasons. So many unanswered questions about Wes' life after his mom died, I'm hoping S4 will have major flashbacks like the beginning of this year did.

And the fact that there is not even a doubt that Wes is dead is just killing me , bringing him back in flashbacks is not the same as having him alive on the show ... I seriously don't think that killing him was a good idea , he was just the best of them and I don't feel like watching the show without him in it ...
Loved the episode, cried like a baby when we saw that it was Wes under the F* sheet but I seriously don't see myself watching the show without Wes in it . He was the center of everything. I'm seriously bummed about it .. donno how I 'll watch the next episode every time I think about Wes'a death I cry ...

It was a fantastic ending, but I am disappointed. I did not want Wes to leave. From Shawnda to another Shonda I wish you would have not killed his character this soon. The show will not be the same without him. I am grieving. Not that I did not enjoy the other characters, but why could it have not been someone else other then the students. He helped make the show. Maybe you need to keep him in besides letting us know who killed Wes. Maybe have some flashbacks or some scenes where Wes will hunt Annalise. She drinks a lot so have his character impose on her concious some how. Bring Wes back.

I was surprised it was Wes. I really didn't want him to be the one. But now I'm getting so involved with all of group, I don't know who should have gone. It's one of my favorite shows.
So disappointed in this ending. Wes was my favorite character. Like many of the other comments I've read, I feel that this will be a huge downfall in the show, and will make a lot of people lose interest. I don't feel like there's a way they can come back from this unless somehow he's not actually dead. This was a bad move, Shonda.
I believe it was Wes under the sheet and that he's legit dead.
But something I noticed: when Annalise was at the beauty shop with Mary J. Blige's character, there was a picture of an African-American male Wes' age. The way the scene was shot, the picture stayed in focus as if it were intentional.
I am wondering if there was some connection between the two young men.

I've been watching since episode 1 season 1. I won't ever watch another episode.
Wes was my favorite character from the first episode. I think I am hearing the death knell for more than Wes. The rest of the characters are blah when compared to Wes. Unless there is some way to undo this, I may have lost interest.

You know from that first episode when them show her screaming I knew it was him. The connection they held..non replaceable. Fail HTGAWM and im a huge fan. Haft to see where the show leads us, but very disappointed.
I am just....beyond. This is how shows loose their way. Too many surprises in the early seasons. They paint themselves in a corner by 1) having nowhere to go from here; and 2)
You will never be able to live up to this level of shock without becoming outrageous. And in most cases...unbelievable.
So I feel like not only am I mourning the death of a beloved character but the early death of a beloved show.
