Do you think clubs, resorts, groups, etc should restrict entry to single men in order to have a better gender ratio?

Enjoyed the article Felicity. Look forward to learning from other clubs/resorts how they handle this issue.

Our club has a decades old policy on maintaining gender balance, has an older single male member population and a number of single women desiring to socialize with singles their age.

Single women guests are welcomed with open arms however single male guests are barred unless a member of AANR or another nudist club.

Being our club is a COOP, bylaws and rules are subject to membership vote.
The biggest challenge is convincing our older members that allowing non-AANR single male guests to visit would benefit the club. Unfortunately single males are perceived as a threat to disrupting the gender balance, whereas other clubs and resorts that permit single males through a daily quota or not see single males as a to the bottom line.

How are clubs and resorts dealing with the millennial generation, a population of singles who aren't marrying young, or joining clubs. What programs and policies are being implemented to attract these folks to your respective club/resort?

Great article Felicity. I agree with all the points you make. At NitOC we have not discriminated against single males or male couples but this does make it harder to attract women or get them to attend events for all the reasons you reply. I also find that while we get gay men couples we don't get any request from lesbian couples which of course makes the gender balance even worse. We have tried forming a "women's only" meetup group with the idea of trying to have women only events to help women gain confidence and discuss these issues and support each other, but can't find any women willing to lead these gatherings.
As for confidence being naked in general I do agree that men are more comfortable, however I have noticed at Deep Creek Hot Springs that within the college age population it appears reversed and it is the women that are more willing to go topless or nude while their male partners rarely remove their boxers or very long swimming shorts. However, I don't see this age group joining naturist or nudist groups or even labeling themselves as naturist even when they fit the TNS definition of naturist perfectly.
