$3500 is a fair price for an 84 X1/9. I bought a nice 84 So. California car and paid about the same price. It is totally rust free and although I had to have the head gasket changed because of overheating on the freeway, it has been a fun car with enough spirit to take me places with lots of curves, and twisty roads too. Im dreaming of sending it to Midwest Bayless for a K-20 drivetrain transplant.
