As much as I think it's great that the minimum wage is being increased, there are also consequences. In the end people are having more money in their pockets while also shelling out more for every day things like food, restaurants, and others. The fatter the pocket the larger the hole in that pocket. On top of that, I think the people at the top of the economic food chain will also be paid more too. In my honest opinion, those people at the top should be paying more money so those at the bottom are not galvanized as much. There is a difference between someone making minimum wage and paying higher taxes than someone who is making 300 an hour and paying higher taxes.
