    Not only do you need bilingual machines, but also who is going to train the customers? I tried the kiosk at Panera Bread and ended up doubling my order because the MyPanera card is located in weird place and you can't get your order added to get your "rewards". Then when I had the manager try to show me, she couldn't.
    Also, Applebees has these kiosks on the tables and the first time I went there the waiter handed me the ticket to pay and left me hanging. I put my charge card thru the kiosk and didn't received any paper work. it took over 30 minutes to have the waiter bring the credit card slip to my table. Then I got this look like I should know how to use the "kiosk"....Again no training for the customer.

    Needless to say, I don't use the kiosk at Panera Bread anymore and I don't patronize Applebees.
