Llewis - just a quick note, for the record. Jonbenet Ramsey didn't "disappear." She was discovered, deceased, in the basement of her family home. And while I'm with you on not giving this murder a fresh, salacious revisit, my impression is that "Casting" is very much an exploration of the public regard for her story; the impression, interest, and so on expressed by those in her community, the media, and beyond.
It's also where my vote is. I've read mixed things, but the concept - a documentary film project based on casting sessions for the crime's key players, and associated conversations, as a means of drilling into public perspectives on the story? Seems like a genuinely new way to examine history. Yes, the subject matter is cold, cruel stuff, but I'm hoping there's humanity and good will to be found here.

Please make Jonbenet Ramsey go away. Yes it is horrible that she disappeared. Unfortunately the story has become like Big Foot or UFO sightings. The poor child has been objectified making her life less about a person and more about the process of covering the news. Let her Rest In Peace.
