In respect of the construction of the new, "rapid" transit system, one has to question the cost of such an undergoing vs. the amount of people (customers), who will actually be using the system . Currently, we have major trouble in both, maintaining and sustaining our urban road system . The establishment of a new roadway for transit purpose only, will have to be maintained and sustained also. Since we cannot keep up with our City road maintenance, how will be able to sustain another, transit roadway ? This entire endeavor to establish a "Rapid" Transit system works out to be a maximum amount of effort for a minimum amount of reward.
