They want to tax sugary drinks in order to modify your behavior. There are a couple of problems with that.
1. Where is your right to choose. The liberal politicians will let you choose to have an abortion (killing a baby), but they don't want you to choose to have a soda???
2. If they are successful with getting this tax, and people slowly stop buying sugary drinks, the libs will have gotten used to the extra revenue stream and will need to tax something else
