it is too late. now the physician has no power. the self-righteous physicians said we must incorporate patient satisfaction and we will all benefit from working together. this was wrong and the marriage to industry has hurt the profession and in turn the patient.
The time to 'fight' the system was decades ago. We have lost the 'battle' for now. We let the bureaucrats in. I tried to encourage our local physician leaders to tell them 'no'. But, it fell on deaf ears. The dentists where much smarter.

I completely agree, but how can we as physicians make the change, when we have used car salesman running out hospitals, politicians and insurance companies controlling the 'industry', turning it into a business.
