To be fair, I think that it was a mistake to legalize it, in the first place.
However, since it is now "legal" in MA (remember, it is still illegal under federal law), issuing an abnormal tax rate will just keep the dealers in business and/or people will just grow their own.
When are politicians going to learn to plan their budgets around the money that they already have, like everybody else does?

High tax will just keep the drug dealers in money. The people did not vote for over blown taxes. The people need to stand up and tell them no to high taxes, the way beer drinkers did a few years ago.
