Would you complain to Profeco or accept that an error had been made?

My problem is not with the occasional "accidental" error, it's with the blatant and intentional scamming that businesses do.

Worse than that, there are almost never any substantial penalties to the businesses. When any punishment comes, it's taken out on the lowly employee - either by being fired or by garnishing their wages. The ones in charge almost never are impacted, thus the ripoffs continue.

I have not had to file a complaint in 20 years of (renting) residence here - BUT - as I attempt to fly out of Mexico City on 3 August 2017 to the USA on Aeromexico Airlines - I am certainly going to be making them aware of the recent article in the English language newspaper THE NEWS that certain airlines - including Aeromexico - Have been charging for the 1st piece of luggage - AND they are all in trouble with Profeco for this illegal practice.

In general I'd accept a small error. If it was a sizable error and the merchant would not correct then I might be inclined to report it.
