Let's see entry level wage for an EMT is approx $15 hr, saving lives, McDonalds cashier $15 hr. How is there even a comparison of liability and training?

Lets forget that rent can increase yearly. Lets also forget about the excise tax on cars we pay. Let me see what else. Oh, do not forget about the tolls... Trade school or college education is a plus but when you make "too much" money, oops there goes financial aid right down the drain. Just get a loan! That is what we are supposed to do. Middle class, lower class... Hard to tell the difference but I find it amusing when people who inherit wealth homes cars ton of support actually know what is best for Western MA. My two cents.

The fast food industry is already poised to use automated systems to prepare and serve food. The technology has already been developed. Excessive labor costs will result in massive entry level job losses. When machines provide more value than people, they replace people. This has always been the case and you can bank on it going forward. If just forcing companies (small and large) to pay high wages worked, we would all be wealthy without additional effort. It has never worked and never will. Lets keep opportunities for all to improve. Just think sports. Are athletes paid huge salaries because a law says teams have to. If that was the case, sports would suck and no one would support the teams resulting in NO sports.

Raising the minimum wage that high will have no effect on people's ability to earn extra money because a lot of businesses will probably just let people go and replace them with as much automation as they can if people want to earn more money they should actually learn a trade or at the very least try to better themselves instead of just standing around with their hands out expecting everyone else to pick up the slack and with that high of a minimum wage you're going to price most first-time job Seekers right out of a job I know as a small business owner if I have to pay that much money I'm going to hire someone with experience in a very high knowledge of the industry that I'm hiring them for not going to hire some 18 year old right out of high school for $15 an hour it's ridiculous

When has raising minimum wage really ever helped anyone. When has minimum rage increased without raising the cost of everything else around it.
